To potential clients of Daniel M. Kavanaugh, CPA
You should know that Dan has done my families taxes for over 10 years and that we have had nothing but great success due to Dan’s flawless accounting experience. Dan is a man who has the ability to recognize each client’s uniqueness, thus giving each individual or corporation the framework that is needed to provide excellence in the service that he provides. You will never be disappointed with Mr. Kavanaugh, he will ensure that you are protected and in the best situation that suits your business needs.
Dan has been preparing my taxes for about 11 years. Prior to that, my tax preparers were not CPAs and I firmly believe that this certification is valuable when it comes to preparing taxes. Before tax time, Dan always sends out an easy form to capture information that will facilitate the upcoming returns. When the returns are completed, he provides a complete copy neatly bound and labeled. He is always on top of the latest tax changes and periodically sends out information about this and tax strategies.
One thing sets Dan apart from the others, is the personal service he provides. I really feel like he has a personal interest in my tax matters and financial well being. I am comfortable calling him anytime and asking him for information regarding tax consequences in a variety of situations. I once needed a copy of my entire previous year’s tax return (including W2’s) that was lost during a move. Dan was able to email copies of the entire return the following day. This past year I was able to schedule a couple of appointments with him to discuss the tax consequences of selling rental properties. He was able to provide a strategy that would save me the most amount of money with the least amount of tax burden. In addition to the tax information he provided, Dan offered some practical down-to-earth financial advice as well.
Over the years, Dan has saved me time and money. About five years ago, before scheduling my regular yearly appointment with him, I decided to purchase a popular computerized tax program. Having used one many years ago, I wanted to see if my refund would be close to his. To my surprise, Dan’s refund amounted to over $1,000 more than mine! He pointed out some deductions that I had overlooked a change in the tax law that was to my benefit, and caught a numerical mistake. I am completely satisfied with his service and would not hesitate in recommending him.
This letter is written as a strong letter of recommendation for the services of Dan Kavanaugh. I have used his services not only as an accountant for my home and businesses, but also as my billing service for my medical practice.
I have known Dan and his wife Donna since the late 1980’s. In about 1991 I asked Dan to be the accountant for my personal matters and for my medical office practice. He has continued in that role since. Shortly thereafter I asked him to be the accountant for the two businesses which I manage which own medical office buildings.
Throughout this time in every instance he has been attentive to the needs of each entity. I have been very pleased with his service which explains why we have had such a long relationship.
In the matter of the personal and business accounting services he has always been available to me, even up to the last minute. He has recognized my needs, counseled me as to what was appropriate and what was not, and has always given me good and appropriate advice.
In the matter of the billing service he and Donna worked with me and advised me well. No patients ever complained to me about my billing service while they were managing the affairs. This had not been true previously and was very important to me.
Whether you choose to utilize the services of either the accounting or the billing services or both, I am sure you will be the beneficiary of well informed advice and personal attention.
